Paul has had a successful career in the property industry since 1999. He started at Romans, where he worked for 12 years working his way up to become a Director, focusing on Lettings. He later joined an independent firm in Newbury for 7 years before being headhunted by another independent business that spanned across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire & Bedfordshire, and later Gloucestershire & Hertfordshire. There, he served as the Commercial Director, overseeing sales, lettings, financial services, and property management. Under his leadership, the brand saw significant organic growth and a number of acquisitions to double the size of the business taking them to eleven branches. Paul’s experience and leadership qualities make him a valuable asset to any organization in the property industry.

“Having seen the amazing work Nicola and the team are doing at Women in Residential Property, I wanted to do something in support and the obvious way was to set up the allyship arm of WiRP. This is where men can show their alliance with the group and more importantly listen and learn. The allyship to Women in Residential Property encourages men to actively support and take action in their workplaces. Men need to get a better understanding of the issues facing women in residential property, the barriers which they are confronting and some perspective on what it is like to be a woman in our industry.

All too often businesses recognise they need to do more to support women in the workplace, whether its with maternity leave, menopause support, career development or breaking through glass ceilings, but they don’t know where to start. Becoming an ally and actively wanting to ask and listen, act and advocate for others is a great place to start.
