Aconveyancing’s second summer challenge will take place on Wednesday 26th June 2024. In partnership with The Conveyancing Foundation they’ll be bringing together industry partners, friends and firms in one place for a day of collaboration and fundraising.

Join the team at Mythe Barn, Atherstone to face the iconic Crystal Maze, spend time with colleagues from across the industry and raise vital funds for The Forward Trust a charity working tirelessly for addiction to be treated as a serious mental health condition.   

Acting as one of the pinnacle annual calendar events for industry collaboration, conveyancers from across the UK are encouraged to participate either individually, or as part of their firm and ticket options are offered for both.  

As official charity partners, The Forward Trust is calling for addiction to be treated as a serious mental health condition and for increased access to support, so that recovery can be possible for everyone.

Aconveyancing’s founder and director, Natalie Moore says; “It’s widely known that there is a strong association between the legal profession and addiction issues. It’s a challenge to avoid alcohol in the job we do – whether that be work nights out, networking and events. The Forward Trust claim that ‘everybody knows somebody’ and I believe that we can do more to raise awareness of addiction within our industry, work hard to stop the stigma surrounding addiction and amplify conversations around the support available to those who might need help. If we can do that whilst having fun, bringing together our conveyancing community and making a day of it, all the better.”

Right now, there are three ways that conveyancers can get involved:

·      Sponsor the day, a great option for firms that want to play a bigger part in the event

·      Take part, either individually or as part of a team of five (individuals will be matched up in a team of five on the day)

·      Donate as much or as little you can, to an amazing cause tackling the stigma surrounding addiction 

And for those that might not be up for the physical challenge, but want to enjoy the summer weather, the event will be followed by food, drinks and networking at our Tipi.
