The Grenfell Tower tragedy marked a defining moment in the residential property industry, casting an often unwelcome spotlight on almost every aspect of UK housing policy from the way we approach development to health and safety legislation. Almost four years on from the tragedy and with the Public inquiry ongoing, the debate relating to how to manage the resulting cladding crisis continues.
On the 13th May, we were joined by Andrew Bulmer (CEO of the Institute of Residential Property Management) Alexandra Anderson (Partner, RPC) and John Baguley (Director of Technical, Risk and Compliance at Countrywide Surveyors. Our panel provided much needed insight into the current status of parliamentary legislation and frank insight into what should happen next.
